Under the Criminal Investigations Division, Central Records is responsible for all aspects of document control within the Sheriff’s Office. The key role is to maintain the integrity of the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office records. Central Records is staffed by one Administrative Assistant and one full-time Office Services Specialist. Central Records is the repository for all reported crimes, suspected crimes, traffic accidents, arrests, injuries, fatalities and all other incidents or events maintained within the Sheriff’s Office. Personnel receive specific training due to the complexity of State Statutes.
Providing service and information to the public is a vital part of Central Records. The public can request information and assistance from Records during business hours, Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office accepts Checks or Money Orders only! Cash or credit cards will not be
accepted.
