Moving Forward and Reducing Crime!

As Sheriff, I appreciate the continued community support as you recently elected me for my 3^rd term! You have my solemn oath that my team of law enforcement professionals will work hand in hand with the communities we serve to make Cecil County a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the citizens of Cecil County, and as such, I will always hold myself and every member of this agency to the highest levels of service and integrity. We continue to use a data driven approach to best allocate our resources. 

We continue to maintain outstanding relationships and data sharing with allied federal, state, and local agencies. These are no doubt challenging times for Public Safety. As current President of the Maryland Sheriff’s Association, I fight hard to keep public safety and citizen concerns relevant in Annapolis. Recent legislation has not helped to keep communities safer throughout the county and state and this is simply unacceptable. 

I look forward to serving the community and maintaining the high level of professional law enforcement services that you all have come to expect. I get the pleasure of work daily with the outstanding men and women that make up the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, and I am very proud to do so.
