Filing Location:
Candidates for local offices must file in person at the Cecil County Board of Elections located at 200 Chesapeake Boulevard, Elkton, MD 21921. All other candidates must file at the State Board of Elections located at 151 West St. Suite 200, Annapolis, MD 21401.
Filing Fee: Filing fee must be paid by check or cash at the time of filing. Checks must be made payable to Cecil County Board of Elections.
Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling (410) 996-5310.

Official identification is required: a current and valid photo identification – Maryland Drivers’ License or MVA issued Identification Card, Passport, Military ID or government issued photo ID at the time of filing.
