Public Information Officer 

Christian J. Miele, Esq. 

Mr. Miele joins Cecil County Government as the Public Information Officer. Christian brings a wealth of experience to this position having served for nearly a decade in a variety of public service leadership roles.  As a state legislator, Christian gained a comprehensive understanding of state and local legislation, as well as extensive experience in constituent services.  Christian most recently served as deputy secretary for the Maryland Department of Disabilities from 2019–2023 where he managed the department’s legislative portfolio and led its policy team.

Christian earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Towson University and his law degree from the Emory University School of Law.  He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2017. Christian resides in Harford County with his wife and two small children.
