MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
OF CECIL COUNTY
The Board of License Commissioners of Cecil County met in a regular session at the County Administrative Building, Conference Room, 107 North Street, Elkton, MD on Tuesday, November 27, 2007.

Chairman Snelling called the meeting to order at 9:15 A.M.
Change of Officers - Dr. Harry Lenderman, President; Le Ann Lenderman, Vice President; Elk Forge Co., LTD, T/A Elk Forge Bed & Breakfast, 807 Elk Mills Road, Elk Mills, MD 21920
Withdrawn
New License - Application received from Seth Z. Whitley, Member; Redd's Group, LLC, T/A Redd's Bar and Lounge, 175 Fletchwood Road, Elkton, MD 21921
Seth Whitley appeared before the Board; Mr. Wilson read the public notice which appeared on dates of November 13 and November 20, 2007; Mr. Whitley was then sworn by the Clerk. The fully executed application packet with proper fees included: Zoning Certificate signed by Cliff Houston, Zoning Administrator Cecil County Department of Planning and Zoning, signatures of 10 registered voters and property owners in District 3-1; Alcohol Awareness Training. Mr. Wilson asked if the application was correct today as when Mr. Whitley signed it; Mr. Whitley stated yes. Mr. Gerweck made a motion to accept the amended application as submitted; Mr. Curry seconded that motion and the Board then voted unanimously to approve the issuance of the license. Mr. Gerweck made a motion to approve the issuance of the license; Mr. Curry seconded that motion and the Board then voted unanimously to approve the issuance of the license.
Update - License Not Issued - Lance Grayson Mitchell Rowe, Member; Hook, Line & Sinkers, LLC, T/A Hook, Line & Sinkers, 10 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901
Lance Rowe appeared before the Board with attorney Karl Fockler; Mr. Fockler explained the town has passed a new zoning ordinance and has required storm water management plan, soil erosion plan and to hire an engineer this could cost in upwards of $20,000. They are currently working with the Town of North East. Currently there is the area within the Shoppes of Londonshire where Chez Cameron was previously; they would like to amend their application and move to that area, so they can open for business. They requested a five-month extension (through renewal); Mr. Gerweck made a motion to approve the five-month extension; Mr. Curry seconded that motion and the Board then voted unanimously to approve the five-month extension as presented.
Update - License Not Issued - James William Kuhn and Elizabeth Rose Kuhn; Bainbridge Grill, Inc. T/A Bainbridge Grill, 1195 Tome Highway, Port Deposit, Maryland 21904
Robert Jones appeared before the Board; he stated Grubb Contractors is currently under construction. The Health Department will need to do a perc test early next year. Mr. Jones requested six-month extension; Mr. Gerweck made a motion to approve the six-month extension; Mr. Curry seconded that motion and the Board then voted unanimously to approve the six-month extension as presented.
Update - License Not Issued - Eric Jay Polansky, Member; EJP, LLC, T/A Paradise Grill, 510 Main Street, North East, MD 21901
The license was issued last week.
