Certified Cecil Grown Program

Cecil County Office of Economic Development is excited to launch the Certified Cecil Grown program!

This program is designed to provide our agricultural producers with marketing materials to help their business stand out among the rest. Farmers will be able to utilize the Cecil Grown logo on their marketing and promotional materials, labels, packaging, and any other means of growing and promoting their business. Consumer will be able to easily identify which products being sold in the county were grown and/or raised right here in Cecil County!

Register your farm as Certified Cecil Grown! 

Eligible entities will meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Operate a farm or agricultural business in Cecil County, MD,
• Raw agricultural crops using the Cecil Grown logo must be grown in Cecil County,
• If you are not growing your own products, but producing a value-added agricultural product, 75% of the inputs must be grown in Cecil County,
• If you are growing crops in Cecil County and offer a value-added product made outside of the county, your business is eligible so long as 75% of the product inputs are grown in Cecil County. 

Benefits:

1. Receive a high resolution round Cecil Grown logo for marketing, packaging, and promotional materials.
2. Receive a “Our products are proudly Cecil Grown” banner to hang at your market stand or on-farm market
3. Price signs to use on Cecil Grown products at your farm stand or market.
