The Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County met in regular session at the County Administration Building, 107 North Street, Elkton, MD on Tuesday, October 2, 2007.  The following members of the Board were present:

William C. Manlove, President
Mark H. Guns, Vice President
Rebecca J. Demmler, Commissioner
Brian Lockhart, Commissioner
Wayne L. Tome, Sr., Commissioner                 

Constituting a full Board.

The meeting was called to order by President Manlove at 2:00 p.m. and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

FILE NO: 2007-6 - Applicant: Mark J. & Sara Conner. Property Location: Charlestown Manor, Charlestown, MD. Election District: 5, Tax Map: 31, Parcels: 1216, 1296, 1297 and 1298. Presently Zoned: Suburban Residential, (SR). Request: To rezone approximately 5.81 acres from Surburban Residential (SR) to Business General (BG). Property Owner: Mark J. and Sara Conner.

Keith A. Baynes, counsel for the property owners appeared before the Board and stated that the applicants wish to withdraw their request for rezoning; therefore, he would not be presenting any testimony in support thereof.  He further stated that the applicants are aware that a new application may not be filed for a one-year period.

Motion to not proceed with this rezoning request, pursuant to Mr. Baynes testimony, with the stipulation, that a new application may not be filed for a one-year period was made by Vice President Guns, seconded by Commissioner Demmler and unanimously carried to approve.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting concluded.
