The County Council of Cecil County established the Broadband Task Force by Resolution No. 100-2013 on January 7, 2014. The charge of the committee is to develop a plan to expand affordable, reliable high speed internet services to all Cecil County Businesses and residents. Each Council Member can appoint up to three members of the committee. Members of the task force can select officers.

The Broadband Task Force has until June 30, 2014 to submit their report and recommendations to the Cecil County Council.

Meetings of the Broadband Task Force are open to the public and meetings are posted on the public meeting calendar on our website.
