PROPERTY ACQUISITION

ROUTE 40 WEST SANITARY SEWER SUBDISTRICT

RE: Public Hearing for Property Acquisition

The Cecil County Department of Public Works, Engineering and Construction Division, will hold a public hearing related to the County's proposed acquisition of property to locate a pumping station associated with the planned Construct Route 40 West Sewer Subdistrict capital improvement project. The subject parcel is identified as Tax Map 31, Parcel 862, located at 3105 Pulaski Highway in the town of North East, Maryland.

On September 17, 2020, the County entered into an Option Contract between Tim Plastics Limited Partnership (Grantor) and Cecil County, Maryland (Grantee) for a proposed purchase price of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000).  The Option Agreement is valid for a period of One Hundred and Eighty (180) days.
