RE: Public Hearing for Property Acquisition
The Cecil County Department of Public Works, Engineering and Construction Division, will hold a public hearing related to the County's proposed acquisition of property associated with the planned CIP Project; Replacement of Bridge CE0042 Mechanics Valley Road over CSX. The subject parcel is identified as 811 Mechanics Valley Road: Tax Map 0025, Parcel 0237, in the town of North East, Maryland.
On August 29th, 2019, the County entered into an Option Contract between Dorothy E. Logan and Rodney M. Guiberson (Grantors) and Cecil County, Maryland (Grantee) for a proposed purchase price of Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00). The Option Agreement is valid for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 6 PM in the Elk Room, County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton, MD.
