Let’s add a new style of lettering to your skills to enhance and personalize your own hand made cards,invitations,scrapbooks, bookmarks, etc. In this class you will learn the foundation of creating calligraphic bookhand/foundational letters. These forms are the closest to the lower case printed letters learned in kindergarten or 1st grade - just done with a broad edged tool :) Each student can expect to receive several exemplars (templates), a notebook and the opportunity to communicate with Patti after the class for additional help and/or critique. Calligraphic writing tools will be available for your use with an option to purchase at the end of the workshop. If you have a pilot parallel pen, please bring it with you. We will take a short break for lunch, you may want pack a bag lunch.
