Nationally know Artist, Leslie Marsh, will be teaching this workshop. This is her second visit to the Palette and The Page. During this two-day workshop, students will create a rich 8"x10" leather journal that can be customized to hold up to three inserts of your choice. Using a simple system of elastic cording, the book will organize the things YOU want in it. The cover will be enhanced with an embossed metal element that the student will design and create during the workshop. The notebooks inside will be made using a simple pamphlet stitch. We will also experiment with some painting and design techniques together. All supplies and use of tools are included in fee.
