Elkton - On Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. County Executive Tari Moore will be holding a press conference at the County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elk Room, Elkton, MD 21921.  The public is invited to attend.

Executive Moore will present the proposed Fiscal Year 2017 Budget message including major initiatives and priorities.  A brief overview of the proposed FY17 Budget will follow.

The Cecil County Charter states that "Not later than April 1^st of each year, the Executive shall prepare and submit a proposed Budget to the Council for the ensuing fiscal year.  The proposed Budget shall present a complete financial plan for the Government, reflecting anticipated revenues from all sources, expenditures, and any surplus or deficit in the general or special funds of the Government."
