Propose a new councilmanic redistricting plan based upon the 2020 Census to be presented to the Cecil County Council for its consideration. Furthermore, Cecil County Charter Section 214 stipulates that compactness, contiguousness, substantially equal and due regard for natural, geographic, and community boundaries serve as priority factors guiding the creation of the redistricting plan.
Next Cecil County Redistricting Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 6:30pm in the Elk Room of the County Administration Building; 200 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD 21921.
