MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

August 14, 2001

          The Board of County Commissioners met in special session at the County Administration Building, 107 North Street, Elkton, Maryland, on Tuesday, August 14, 2001.  The following members of the Board were present:

                                Nelson K. Bolender, President

                                Harry A. Hepbron, Commissioner

                                Phyllis Kilby, Commissioner

constituting a full Board.

          The meeting was called to order by President Bolender at 10:00 a.m. and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

-         RESOLUTION – BONDS –

Ms. Cheryl Guth, Bond Counsel, and Mr. Sam Ketterman, Financial Advisor, presented a Resolution to approve $15,245,000 of general obligation bonds to finance various County facilities.  Ms. Guth advised that the Resolution authorizes the sale to occur on August 28, 2001, in the Commissioners’ Office.

Motion was made by Commissioner Kilby, seconded by Commissioner Hepbron, and unanimously carried to approve the Resolution.  A copy is incorporated as a part of these minutes.

Motion was made by Commissioner Kilby, seconded by Commissioner Hepbron, and unanimously carried to adjourn.
