PUBLIC HEARING

Senior Services and Community Transit (SSCT) will conduct a Public Hearing to afford the public an opportunity, by request, to review SSCT’s Annual Transportation Proposal for FY 2011

The proposal requests $30,000 for Feasibility Study, $398,606 Section 5311 funding and $134,073 Statewide Special Transportation Assistance Program funding from the MD Transit Administration and the Federal Transit Administration.

Capital Requests for FY 2011:
Preventive Maintenance Expenses - $84,000
8 Bus Shelters/Installation and Relocation (3) - $38,000
Bus Stop Signs for fixed route - $4,000
AVL’s for fixed route/demand response buses – $3,500
Digital Destination Signs for fixed route buses- $28,000
Video Cameras for fixed route buses - $21,000
Portable Lift for FVS - $40,000
County funding for capital expenses is 10%

Also, proposed is the ADA Paratransit Deviated Fixed Route Surcharge of  $3.00
