 Winding Brook Street Improvements

On August 19, 2008, the Cecil County Board of County Commissioners approved award of a $ 835,718.50 contract to Dix Hollow Construction, Inc., of Elkton, MD for street improvements of Winding Brook.

The contract includes replacement of concrete curb and asphalt resurfacing, and replacement of catch basins on Chestnut Drive, Willow Drive and four parking areas.

It is anticipated that construction will start in late September 2008 and be completed by December 2008.  Partial road closures and temporary interruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic and parking will occur during construction.  Residents will be notified in advance of the interruptions.

The project will be 100% County funded.
