Commissioners Sponsor 2006 Cecil's Beautiful People Volunteer Recognition Event

The County Commissioners'  Office, in conjunction with local businesses, is sponsoring the 2006 Cecil's Beautiful People Volunteer Recognition Event.

If you know a family member, friend, neighbor, or member of an organization who deserves to be recognized and thanked for their time and effort to help people in their community, youth, those in need, or serve through organizations to make Cecil County a better place to live, please fill out a nomination form today!

The Commissioners will recognize each nominated volunteer as one of  "Cecil's Beautiful People" for their contributions and dedication to serving others at our local volunteer recognition event in September. One of our local volunteers will represent Cecil County at the Maryland You Are Beautiful event held in November.

Pick up a Cecil's Beautiful People Volunteer Nomination Form today at the County Commissioners'  Office at 107 North Street, on our web site www.ccgov.org or from your local library. Contact Vicky Rinkerman, Event Coordinator in the Commissioners' Office, at 410-996-5202 if you would like us to mail a form to you, or for more information.

The deadline for nominations is August 4, 2006.
