| Council Members with their volunteers participated in countywide roadside cleanup on May 1 in their districts, which included Councilwoman Jackie Gregory in Elk Neck, Councilman Bill Coutz on Leeds Road, and Councilman George Patchell on Belvidere Road. Councilman Al Miller adopted Doctor Miller Road to continue cleanup four times annually. The Council encourages residents to adopt a road in their area to keep Cecil County Beautiful. | |
Councilman Al Miller presents a proclamation in recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month to Joyce Bowlsbey, President, and Kristen Graham, program manager, CASA of Cecil County.
In November of 2019, The Council presented a proclamation to Fred VonStaden to recognize him for 34 years of service as he retires as Division Director of Environmental Services for the Cecil County Health Department.

In August 2019, The Cecil County Council presented a proclamation to the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Inc., Cecil County Division 1, in recognition of their 125th anniversary. Members of this organization perform acts of charity in the community for nursing homes, the elderly and Veterans.
