Cecil County Launches Public Email Notification Service

 Elkton, MD - The Board of Cecil County Commissioners announces the launch of a new public email notification service from the Cecil County Government website.  A link is now available for the public to sign up and receive email alerts on a daily basis for news articles and public notice information posted by the County under "News" or "Public Notices" on the home page of the website. 

Interested citizens will fill out an information form to receive the email alerts.  When a new "News" and/or "Public Notice" is posted to the website, an email alert will be sent to the email address provided by the individual that will include a link to the homepage of the County's website. 
"The Commissioners are excited to be able to provide this email notification service for our citizens.  The public uses information technology everyday, and this will provide interested citizens the ability to sign up and receive email alerts when important information is posted to our website", said Board President Brian Lockhart.
