Request for Proposal 07-07 -- CLOSED

  Sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) for Cecil County Government, for the "Pilot Watershed Management Plan Coastal Communities" as described in the proposal package, for the Cecil County Government will be received from qualified VENDORs at anytime and up to 2:00 P.M., February 21, 2007 at the Purchasing Office, 218 North Street Elkton, MD 21921.  Additional specifications and/or instructions to vendors may also be obtained by calling the Purchasing Department, (David Pyle, Purchasing Agent) 410-996-5395, Assistant to the County Commissioners, Vicky Rinkerman (VRINKERMAN@CCGOV.ORG) or Matt Carter, Capital Facilities Manager, (MCARTER@CCGOV.ORG).

 Electronically submitted bid proposals will not be accepted.  Bid proposals will not be accepted from contractors who have not obtained original plans and documents from the Cecil County Purchasing Department.

 Upon request, the Purchasing Office will provide vendor lists to requesting parties for all solicitations published unless a vendor/contractor provides a written request barring the disclosure of their information until after specific proposal award. 

 LOCAL CONTRACTORS PREFERENCE:  Section 183-21 of the Cecil County Code provides for Local Preference whereby the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County reserves the right to show preference to local bidders in the purchase of supplies, equipment, and services.

 In accordance with Cecil County Code, the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County reserves the right to show preference to local bidders in the purchase of supplies, equipment, and services.  The amount shall not exceed six percent (6%) of the amount bid or quoted and/or sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) whichever is less.
