Dog Obedience Classes
|
Dog Obedience classes will be offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Cecil Community Center on 17 Wilson Rd, Rising Sun, MD. Our next session will start on September 21, 2010.
Dog Obedience will be offered on Tuesdays at 6PM and Thursdays at 6PM. Dogs should be 6 months and older with current immunizations and rabies & distemper receipt. Cost is $40 for session.
Puppy Academy will be offered on Thursdays at 7:15 PM. Puppies should be 6 months and younger and have all current immunizations. Cost $40 for session
Please bring a 6 ft. leash (no retractable leashes, choke or prong collars) and your dog's favorite treats and clean up bags.

| Cardio Dance/Ultra Fit Aerobics Fall 2010 |
Fall session for Cardio-Dance starts September 13, 2010. Classes led by instructor Kathleen Conner. Cardio- Dance combines moderate/low-impact dance aerobics with strength training providing an effective fitness program which can be modified to fit your needs. Classes will be held at Bainbridge Elementary School Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM.
Things to bring with you: Water bottle, mat, towel, light weights, comfortable work out clothes and good sneakers. The class size is limited so advanced registration is recommended..

Cardio Muscle Class with Exercise Ball - Cecil Arena Fall 2010

Bring your own 55" ball and one set of 5-10 lb weights to this class being held at the Cecil Arena and Tuesdays from 9:30-10:30am. Fall Session to begin Tuesday September 14, 2010. Instructor, Tricia Hook, ACE Personal Trainer. Six week sessions, $30.00. 12 week session is $60.00. Walk-ins are welcome. The cost of each walk-in is $8.00.

Pilates Fall 2010

| Pilates exercises stretch and strengthen the muscles that support your posture and core. This program will increase your flexibility, strength and balance in a relaxed environment. | Yoga Fall 2010 |
Yoga is the practice of 'union for the body, mind and spirit.' A six week class scheduled to be held Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15 PM at the Cecil County Community Center at 17 Wilson Road in Rising Sun. The Summer Session starts Wednesday September 15, 2010. Robin Waddell - 200hr. CYT/RYT will guide the class. The fee for this six class sessions is $25.00. Twelve classes for $50.00

| Zumba Summer 2010 |
Ditch the Workout and join the Party! Zumba is here. This Cardio class uses hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy to follow moves. This class has interval sessions with fast and slow rhythms in a fun atmosphere while burning fat.

| Men's Drop In Basketball |
| Open Gym basketball is available at North East MIddle School on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm. Drop in rate is $5.00 per evening. This drop in program offers a full size court and plenty of room for the hardcore hoops player. This program runs from October 6th to May 25th. Play dates will follow the CCPS holiday school closings and inclement weather closings. |

Adult Tennis League - ongoing

Do you want a steady tennis date? A league is now forming that will schedule playing times for adults. The courts at the Cecil Community Center in Rising Sun will be used, currently meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday evenings. Contact the Recreation Offices for more information or to sign up.

| Adult Men's Lacrosse |
| Men's Indoor Lacrosse program starts September 16th at the Cecil Arena. There will be two divisions for the Men, Unlimited ages from 8:00-9:00 Pm and Over 25 from 9:00-10:00 PM. This tweek week program has a fee of $75.00 per player or a $10.00 drop in per night. |

| Adult Women's Lacrosse |
| Women's Indoor Lacrosse program starts September 16th at the Cecil Arena . This program will run twelve weeks on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM for ages 16-25 interested in deleloping league play. The program fee is $50.00 per player or $5.00 drop in per night. |

| Adult Pick up Style Soccer |
| CCPR will host an Indoor pick up style soccer program at the Cecil Arena starting September 15, 2010. This program is open to ages 17 and older. The program will run twelve weeks on Wednesday evenings from 8:30-10:30 PM and cost $60.00 per player or $10.00 drop in per night. |

Adult Indoor Soccer League
|
A new session of Adult Indoor Soccer is scheduled to begin Sunday, September 19, 2010. Teams will play approx. 8 games. There is a team registration fee of $400.00 in addition to a weekly referee fee. Games are played Sunday and Monday evenings at the Cecil Arena, 2706 North East Road in North East which is an indoor turf facility. See standings and schedule on our Announcements page. Unlimited Division and an Over 35 Division available

| Adult Flag Football |
| Team applications now being accepted for Adult Flag Football. The season will begin September 18, 2010. Teams will play at the Cecil Arena on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. $300.00 Team Fee. Please see the application for details. |
