Cardio Dance/Ultra Fit Aerobics
|
Classes now forming for the fall session of Cardio-Dance. Classes led by instructor Kathleen Conner. Cardio- Dance combines moderate/low-impact dance aerobics with strength training providing an effective fitness program which can be modified to fit your needs.
Things to bring with you: Water bottle, mat, towel, light weights, comfortable work out clothes and good sneakers. The class size is limited so advanced registration is recommended.
A Holiday Session will begin Monday November 23 at Bainbridge Elementary and will run for 3 weeks. Please see flier for details.

| Adult Volleyball - League Play will postpone start |
Co-ed Volleyball at North East Middle School is scheduled to be held on Wednesdays. Registration will start on September 16th. Cost, $160. See flier for details. Start date is pending team registrations.
Open Volleyball at Bayview Elementary is scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 6th from 6:30-8:30pm. Cost, $30.00 for 12 weeks or $5.00 drop in rate.

Ball & Tone Exercise- Cecil Arena
|
Bring your own 55" ball and 5 lb weights to this class being held on Mondays from 5:00-6:00pm at the Cecil Arena and Tuesdays from 9:30-10:30am. Monday class is scheduled to begin August 24th and the Tuesday class is schedule to begin August 25th. Eight week sessions, $40.00. Walk-ins are welcome. The cost of each walk-in is $8.00.
A winter session is scheduled to start Tues, January 6th from 1-2pm.

Pilates
|
| Scheduled to begin the week of August 26th, pilates will be offered Wednesdays at 5:00pm and Thursdays at 9:30am. Each class will consist of an eight week session held at the Cecil Community Center in Rising Sun. Eight week session, $40.00. Walk-ins are welcome. The cost of each walk-in is $8.00. |

| Yoga |
An eight week class scheduled to be held Monday evenings from 6:15-7:30 and Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15pm in the Cecil County Community Center at 17 Wilson Road in Rising Sun. Classes to start the week of November 9, 2009. Robin Waddell - 200hr. CYT/RYT will guide the class. The fee for the sessions is $30.00.
Please note this is not a Pre-natal Yoga session. Please contact the office/instructor for Pre-natal Yoga.

Adult Flag Football - www.cecilflagfootball.com - will resume in the fall

An adult flag football league is forming to be held outdoors on Saturdays at the Ceil Arena. Team registration is now being accepted. There is a $400/team entry fee that does not include uniforms and ref fees.
Games expected to begin September 26.

Adult Tennis League - ongoing
|
Do you want a steady tennis date? A league is now forming that will schedule playing times for adults. The courts at the Cecil Community Center in Rising Sun will be used, currently meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday evenings. Contact the Recreation Offices for more information or to sign up.

Adult Indoor Soccer League
|
A new session of Adult Indoor Soccer is scheduled to begin Sunday, December 6th. Teams will play 8 games enter into playoff s. There is a team registration fee of $400.00 in addition to a weekly referee fee. Games are played Sunday and Monday evenings at the Cecil Arena, 2706 North East Road in North East which is an indoor turf facility. Spring session to follow.

| This class is designed for anyone who wants to start a career in acting. It is lead by JoAnn Dawson. She is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and has worked in various film and television series. This class is scheduled to be held on Monday nights starting January 2010 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Cost, $60.00 for 8 weeks. |

| Each class you will create a different hand made project that you can use for your own home Holiday decor or give as a gift. Classes will be held on Friday's at the Community Center, 17 Wilson Rd. Rising Sun MD 21911 from 6:30-9pm on October 23, November 13, and December 11. Cost, $5.00/class. |
