                     Bus Driver – On Call

Cecil County Senior Services & Community Transit is seeking a Bus Driver with a starting salary of $12.22 per hour.  Drivers will operate "The Bus" and/or the "CT Cruiser".  If you love interacting with a diverse population in the local community, this is a great opportunity! On Call Drivers cover open shifts where FT/PT employees cannot work. The position hours are based upon availability and are not guaranteed. There are no benefits with this position.  

Position Requirements: High School diploma or G.E.D.; one (1) or more years experience as a professional driver; attention to safety while driving; excellent customer service skills; a strong desire to serve the public with its transportation needs; you must have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement (P); and no more than 2 points on current drivers' license.

Duties: Include the transportation of seniors, disabled individuals and the general public along a deviated fixed route from Perryville, MD to Elkton, MD to Glasgow, DE; perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, including fueling and cleaning the vehicle.
