Bus Driver – Part Time

Cecil County Senior Services & Community Transit is seeking a Bus Driver, PT with a starting salary of $12.22 per hour. Part-time Drivers work between 28 – 32 hours per week. Drivers will operate "The Bus" on a fixed route schedule.  If you love interacting with a diverse population in the local community, this is a great opportunity! Position requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.; one (1) or more years experience as a professional driver; attention to safety while driving; excellent customer service skills; a strong desire to serve the public with its transportation needs; you must have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement; maintain a good driving record as stated by County regulations. Part-Time drivers must work a weekend day (Saturday) rotation every 5 weeks.

Duties: Include the transportation of seniors, disabled individuals and the general public along a deviated fixed route from Perryville, MD to Elkton, MD to Glasgow, DE; perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, including fueling and cleaning the vehicle; all duties as assigned.
